We kicked things off at Fairport Brewing Company, a favorite local spot that set the tone for the entire session. With craft beer in hand and the warm, welcoming atmosphere of the brewery around them, the couple instantly felt at ease. Starting an engagement session at a place you already love is a great way to shake off nerves and create natural, candid moments.

One of the most personal stops of the session was at the couple’s home. Photographing them in their own space added an intimate layer to the story, this is where real life happens, where mornings start, and where their future together is unfolding. The addition of film photography added a sense of warmth to their galley.

We ended the session at a beautiful local Rochester country club, bringing a classic and elegant finish to the day. As the light softened, the manicured grounds and refined architecture offered a stunning contrast to the earlier, more casual locations.
